What counts as custom joinery, versus off-the-shelf cabinetry? +
Custom joinery is designed and made for your space and no one else's - measured to the room, built to your selections in our own workshop. No modular carcasses, no flat-pack, no fixed sizes. Kitchens, robes, pantries, bars, vanities and whole-home fitouts.
Can you do a whole-home fitout, or just one room? +
Both, and whole-home is where we do our best work. One design language carried from the kitchen through to the robes, studies and laundries, made and installed by the same team so every room belongs to the same house.
Do you make everything in your own workshop? +
Yes. Every piece is designed, made and installed by 4D - from our Southport workshop, by our own trades. That's how we hold the standard and the millimetre.
Can you match new joinery to a kitchen you've already built? +
Often, yes. Bring us the room and the finishes and we'll design the new piece to sit with what's there - the same timber, the same detailing, so it reads as one project, not an add-on.
What does custom joinery cost on the Gold Coast? +
